In 2019, I very quietly self published a small collection of hand lettered poetry that I had been working on for years called "Where Does the Dark Live?"
Imposter syndrome makes it hard for me to talk about. I was happy to have done it but didn't want to make a big deal out of it. Fear, vulnerability and imposter syndrome are real jerks sometimes.
Over time, I have gotten a little more comfortable with talking about it and its a good thing too because...
TODAY IS THE DAY I became an official GoodReads author!
I accept and admit that all of this is kind of cool, ok? I ADMIT IT. Are you happy?! I am, I really am. I am very hard on myself, I'm sure a lot of you can relate, and allowing myself to hold space for this moment is nice. My inner child is very proud, very impressed so I am allowing my outer adult to be so, too.
You can grab a copy of Where Does the Dark Live? on Amazon. I have a few other journal/planner style books over there as well, you can see those on my Amazon Author Page.
If you're on GoodReads, I'd love it if you gave my author profile a follow, pop my book on your TBR list, or if you've read it, please leave a rating and a review. I promise I won't go scorched earth on you if you leave a rating/review that isn't 5 stars. I do however, reserve the right to pout about it to my friends.
Thanks for reading, reviewing, supporting me on this journey. I am currently working on either a second poetry collection or a special edition of WDTDL, I haven't decided yet, so stay tuned for that. Here's hoping it doesn't take me 30 more years to publish another book. <3
