Come read with us this month, we are doing horror. Yes, again, hush!

Hi friends and enemies.

I wanted to let you know what book we’ve selected to read for July. Everyone at the June meeting was rooting for another horror selection so we hope this month’s choice scratches that itch for y’all! We selected The Eyes are the Best Part by Monika Kim as our main read!

Hannah has been on edge to read this, I am intrigued myself and everyone voted and this one came out on top! Also, fun fact, Illumicrate chose this for the featured book for July’s Evernight box too! Great minds. (this is not a sponsored plug, I just thought it was cool and I can’t wait to see what the special edition looks like!)

If that isn’t horrifying enough (or you just are put off by the eyeball on the cover) we selected a morbid nonfiction for our alternate read: Lady Killers by Tori Telfer. This book details the life and crimes of 14 female serial killers throughout history. The ebook is currently on sale too!
