Haunting Adeline... Again?

You're not losing your mind, though I may be losing mine.

So if you’re not interested in the long version of this, here is the TL;DR version.
Youtube did not like my original video so it was never monetized despite being my best performing video. So, I went back and cut out a lot of the “inappropriate” language, etc. and I reuploaded the PG version. It is fully monetized and I would appreciate your views and engagement!

I have been having the WORST time with Adsense for YT. I was monetized last summer and this review had a lot to do with that! So I eagerly signed up for Adsense but in my excitement, I accidentally made my profile name my maiden name which didn’t match my tax information. So as soon as I realized my mistake, I submitted a request to fix it and uploaded the required documents to do so. That was August 2023.

Fast forward to now, it still isn’t fixed because Adsense has the WORST customer service team I’ve ever experienced. I won’t waste time shit talking them, though I could. Just know that I have submitted 7 forms now, gone round and round with a representative that is not actually listening and just sending scripted replies and playing middle man between me and the elusive “internal team” that is apparently actively working to resolve my issue… allegedly. I have over $500 earned that I can’t access and 60 emails, 3 separate live chats, 7 forms and 5 months later… no progress has been made. Which is kind of a blessing in disguise I guess because my best performing video - Haunting Adeline - wasn’t fully monetized anyway.

In the time I have been waiting for a resolution on this issue, I set up a separate Adsense account, disconnected the original one (so I’m not just making ad revenue that continues to be held from me) and I went through the entire verification process all over again for the new one, got it approved and connected. All of that completed before the original issue was resolved. I am losing my mind.

HOWEVER it did give me time to re-evaluate my original rant review, make necessary cuts and edits and make sure it was ad friendly and “appropriate” for YT and now, I am happy to say, the re uploaded version is fully monetized!

I would greatly appreciate the love, engagement, views, clicks, shares, etc. on the re upload. You guys are the reason I got monetized in the first place and I appreciate you so much. Thanks for reading my ramblings <3
